Bowdoin College School-Record Fourteen Bowdoin Swimmers Qualify for NCAA Championship

A school-record 14 Bowdoin swimmers have qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship in selections announced last weekend. Five members of the men's team earned qualification while nine women will travel to compete in Greensboro, N.C., on March 15-18. The 14 qualifiers surpass the previous record of 13, set last winter.

Women's Team Qualifiers

  • Carolyn Casey (400 free relay, 800 free relay)
  • Cassie Maroney (200 free relay)
  • Ella Martin (200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 400 medley relay)
  • Ella Riccio (200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 400 medley relay)
  • Anna Roberts (100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay)
  • Olivia Smith (800 free relay)
  • Elizabeth Walsh (200 butterfly, 200 IM, 400 IM, 800 free relay)
  • Brynn Wright (400 medley relay, 800 free relay)
  • Tatum Zupnik (50 free, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay)
Men's Team Qualifiers

  • Alex Grand'Pierre (200 breaststroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 free relay, 400 medley relay)
  • Penn Lee (200 free relay)
  • Ethan O'Connor (400 medley relay)
  • Jack Tran (200 free relay, 400 medley relay)
  • Steven Ward (200 free relay, 400 medley relay)
